Meredith starting. Cahill bench. Folami bench for opposing side Ipswich. Would love Cahill to give some words of wisdom after the game to young Folami.
Luongo and Wright starting plus Williams starting for Rotherham who continue their playoff drive.

+xLyden on the bench for Villa U23, been injured for a long time. Pasquali on the bench for Jong Ajax. Lyden played right back in the EPL in the deep end and did alright. Shame he gets hurt so much.

Would be great to see Millwall make the playoffs for a bit of novelty. They're in top form. Imagine Villa vs Millwall at Wembley.
Slightly annoyed Cardiff are going up. Ideally Villa and Fulham would be great to have back.

+x+x+x+xMaclaren should be starting for the Socceroos. The guy works hard on defense too. Juric is excellent off the ball and has performed far better for the NT than Maclaren. No way he should start. Juric is better at holding the ball no doubt but no way he is better than Maclren off the ball, if we are talking about work rate, making runs and getting in good positstions then he Maclaren is better. Juric has been played better? I guess so, he certainly has had a lot more games to do so, in 34 games he has scored 8. Maclaren has had 5 games with no goals, give him another 29 games and lets talk then. I agree he Maclaren should not be starting over Juric, but he deserves to be on the bench at the world cup, can't keep expecting Cahill to save our ass in the future. i agree that maclaren is great off the ball. Him robbie kruse and holman excell at this and it isn't noticed by many I think Agree. This is a skillset that is greatly overlooked. Something that Ronaldo trumps messi in too by a long way. I'd say ronaldo's off the ball movement is the best in the world

Ben Folami came on at half time - and has already scored in the 52nd minute for Ipswich against Cahill's Millwall

GET IN! Not entirely sure who got the final touch after a goalmouth scramble, but it looked like Folami - so we'll give him it! Back on level terms
Ipswich Twitter.
Suddenly they score again. 2:1 Ipswich. Timmy time?

Ryan Blumberg and Ashley Maynard-Brewer are two young Aussies at Charlton. I think the latter has made the bench on occasion.

Still no Cahill. Their campaign is too important to do any favours. I imagine his fitness is pretty decent but he needs to get more time.

Elder starting. Huge game. I guess all of them are huge at this point.

Vukovic concedes a penalty with the last kick of the game. He went the correct way and almost got it. Silly stretched leg by his defender.

Full game for Elder in a loss, but still looking good for promotion.
No game time for Pasquali, hell play in the U19s.

Found this encouraging review Ben Folami (for Kenlock 46)Made a real impact following his introduction at the break as he put himself about, showed some neat touches and forced the first Ipswich goal. Whether he actually scored it or not is another matter but a highly promising Championship debut. 8
