I agree but I don't like the grey/silver. Last time we had it we were woeful in it and I remember reading a study years ago regarding jersey colours and team performance and hands down the worst colour was grey. Grey and dark purple from memory.
Ironically, the best colour for a GK to wear (when looking at save %) was Orange! Bright pink was second.

I think orange, black and maroon would be great. I wouldn't mind something with some kind of patterning as well to mix it up.

no maroon and no sublimated stripes etc ..or we will end up like the God awful Rugby league jerseys..I follow the Broncos ..yet if you asked me to describe their jersey I would have no idea ..they are such a hotch potch of patterns and designs from year to year ...... keep it simple stupid

I was thinking more like Bournemouth's 3rd kit but a mix of blacks and charcoals. I also like the subtle hoops on West Hams away kit this season. They're both Umbro kits so potentially could be templates we could use.

The clue on the shirt I think is the orange shirt, Roar badge with the white “dots” ... that’ll be the look/feel in the shirts with no white sleeves and black shorts.

To be honest, I think it is only a gaping hole if McKay starts. If Nigro were to start there, I think we would be okay. Obviously could be better, but a midfield of TK, Nigro and Mauk is certainly not terrible.

I do think that would be a good midfield. Sydney FC has shown that a couple of solid young Australian's and an import can make a very solid midfield. 
Obviously I would love us to bring in another marquee, and by all accounts, it seems like that is going to happen. I am just saying that I think our midfield would be fine if we didn't bring in anyone else and Nigro were to occupy that DM instead of McKay. 

Aloisi doesn't have the balls to drop McKay for a young player or he would've (and should've) already done that with Caletti tbh.

Don't overestimate Nigro. Most victory fans weren't fussed that he was let go. He didn't show much potential IMO.

umbro have done a couple of all black kits this season, both hull city and everton have all black change strips. i think we could see one of them as what we get.

Fair enough. I mostly saw Victory fans complaining that he was played at LB instead of DM (which may be Aloisi's plan anyway) and that he showed signs of something. I can't imagine he will see much game time anyway, given we have other starters for his positions.

I think it’s fair to say no ones getting too excited about Nigro and he was only signed as cover for an inexperienced O’Toole anyway, but if he lasts more than a year I’d be interested to see how he goes.

If Roar don’t sign another DM though, Nigro certainly isn’t the answer - the answer will most likely be a change in formation to accomodate a single “6” which the current squad can easily accomodate.

Hull and Everton kits are nice.
