Is a report I heard correct in that the method of deciding who kicks off is the winner of the rock, paper, scissors? Lol

+xas of 2pm feb/5th a ticket sales of only 6,238 tickets have been sold for AFLX per bigfooty forum even with all the ticket givaways, if this game gets a bgger crowd than the derby, we may as well die as a species.

Good grief. Why do Australian sports administrators insist on treating the audience like idiots? Is it really what people want?

For the record SEN, an AFL dominated radio station has been taking the piss out of AFLX. Pretty much every caller about it has nothing positive to say.
I can't see this lasting long. If a star gets injured then it will be over.

They just want it to catch on the minimum amount required with kids so they can use it as a land grab against our grounds.

Kinda like how NRL swallowed up Touch Footy to use it's huge participation base to boost it's own grassroots.

They were giving away medallion club as well apparently. Meanwhile, if anyone wants irrefutable proof of how much of a piss take this thing is, I present this: https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/aflx-2019-buddy-danger-dusty-fyfe-captains-50k-payday.1208910/page-13#post-59639237

I love it when people have really bad ideas, everyone says ‘that’s pathetic’ and the final response after first saying ‘give it time’ is to try and pretend it's deliberate crap.
Waste of money, but what do they care, they’ll just get another government handout.
But kudos to the AFL for somehow inventing a time machine and going back to the early 90s to ask a compete bogan idiot for marketing ideas.

I suppose we need all the help we can get to win a gold medal. An event against ourselves would do the trick

Sorry to ppl In this thread now how to quote mobile.
But yeah ‘for the kids’ now apparently. Lol. Sure, I’ve seen their media kit for advertisers. That’s a monumental lie it’s just for kids.
