+xEarly in the piece though WU did appear to say they wouldn’t raid the MC or MV academies though :) so far they have signed 2 City youth players and 2 former Victory players. There have also been rumours about them being interested in Bratten and Kosta. I recall Heart raiding former Victory players when they started up. I can't help but feel they are making the same mistakes.

Rudan is pretty much confirmed now, has Kurto been announced or is that still just a rumour?
There'll be a lot riding on the quality of their visa signings in regards to getting the fans in I feel, especially before their stadium is built. Not quite sure they've gone about community engagement and things the right way, especially in comparison to MSWS.
I can't wait for there to be a new club next season though, it's been a stale few seasons.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xCorrection he deleted me as a friend . Probably due to me posting his melt down from here ah ok. So he lurks or posts under a different name now? Nah he doesn't lurk here. Just didn't like me showing everyone he went by girt and people realise who he was when I posted it as his melt down is well known . Which melt down? The we are football stickers rant. He blamed notor and a few others for costing us the w.c😂😂 lol wot As far as I can find unfortunate the original is lost to history, but there is contemporary source here. Page three is where it gets spicey. Thanks. So girt claimed he did all this stuff (is any of it true) but I still not sure how notor somehow ruined our WC bid. Jim still won't answer that. Yes I asked about it on the official western United supporters group and he then banned me . Doesn't like to be questioned So I assume he didn't do any of that stuff then. Still seems bizarre to blame one poster for not getting the World Cup. Oh i think he did meet tutu by chance. Everything else is in his mind. Ill give him to round 3 next season before he goes all and mighty and the active support split It has split already lol. A new group called Western Service Crew has been seemingly formed from people kicked out of We Are West for having differing opinions.

Wait, someone said they met Bishop Desmond Tutu? Are they trying to give their supporters group more gravitas or something? :hehe:

The word 'United' indicates that two or more entities have merged to form this one.

So when's the first shovel into the ground due? That's the only reason I was supporting their inclusion.

As far as I’m aware, they haven’t even started the planning process yet. That should take a year before they can even think about starting construction

That should take a year before they can even think about starting construction Has it even been confirmed that they have taken ownership of the land? There was a lot of talk last year, but nothing this year. You'd think if they had taken ownership of the land there would have been some sort of ribbon cutting with the local government for the media.
