Obviously depending on the new manager's judgment, but would be good to see Hope loaned out - CCM maybe?

Yeah we wouldn't take him. Stajcic would most likely sign someone from the NPL, such as our former Academy player Steve Whyte.

Honestly, why not. Give him 5 years and if he/the club decides it's enough after 3 years, transition him to an assistant manager role. Would love to see clubs reward their long serving players in that way!!

That would be tolerable. I wouldn’t hold it against him if he did go to Victory but I’d still be gutted.

Gallifuoco actually has potential and doesn't play in a position where Australian football has the most depth.

I'm OK with Hope signing for another year. Valeri has retired and Broxy seems to be a permanenent fullback now. My only concern is us signing too many players before the new coach comes on board. we don't wanna tie his hands too much 

Ross Aloisi would be a great coach & fit for the Melbourne Victory.  Make it happen.  

So will our current assistant coach stay on?

Honestly would back him over any Aloisi or even Kurz. At least the football would be entertaining.

Two years is perfect for me.

As much as I love the Brox he is getting older and worse, especially his passing over the last few seasons.

By next season he might not be up to it but should get the two seasons because he deserves the credit

Rumours on twitter that ADP was showing Marco Kurz around AAMI Park today.

Kurz would be great for Victory imo

Pretty under whelming if comes off, and almost what was the point of parting with Kev? Obviously willing to give him a chance though (which is very nice of me I know)

If Kurtz gets the job would be interested to see what he could do with a bigger budget and roster than he had at  Adelaide. 

We could all tell kev needed to leave. He looked like he was cooked and it showed. 

I can't say I watched enough of Adelaide this year to have a properly informed opinion of him.

I understand your point of why fuck Kev off for another A-League coach, but it was fair to say no party was getting any better with Kevin staying where he was. It was time for a fresh start.

The massive difference between Adelaide and Victory is having a quality striker to lead the team. Kurz never had one at Adelaide so it is hard to judge how he would go with one at Victory.

But there is also a big question mark about Kurz's recruiting ability. It's possible that AU didn't exactly help him get the players he wanted, bit it's also possible he's not that good at recruiting. There will be some big holes to fill all over the park at MV. Up front, Honda needs replacing but there is also the possibility that Kosta and Troisi will also need replacing if their contracts are not extended. With Valeri and Baena gone, the midfield will need replacing. Niedermeier needs to be replaced and seeing as his loan is over, Donachie may also need to be replaced. If the rumours about Thomas going overseas are true, a new no 1 keeper will also need to be recruited. So whom ever gets the job at MV as a massive job to do over the pre-season.

I think Kurz did very well with his recruitment, and he seems to be one of very few coaches in the A-League who actually manage to improve players. He was given a pretty tiny budget at Adelaide and excelled, I think he will only do better with a bigger one.

Doncs actually is signed for 2 years. The first 6 months was on "loan"  but he was released  by his club in Korea.  We sent condom to them for big doncs
