+xThe 2 expansion clubs have taken differing approaches to their launch. These guys seem to be making some solid moves, it's a shame they weren't coming in next season. They'd rather take their time with it. The fact that they are going to play in 21-22 season gives them room to breathe. i assure you they'll use this time well

+xGyfox do you think they will be the next WSW? No. They will market themselves to about one third of Wanderers area so they won't be as big as Wanderers. The northern half of their market based on Fairfield and Liverpool is strongly held by Wanderers. It has a number of "old football clubs" and a slowly reducing number of registered players. I wouldn't expect them to get a lot of fans/members out of that part of their market but you never know especially when there will be about 200k population growth there up to 2036. The southern part of their market is Macarthur (Camden, Campbelltown, Wollondilly) which is a big growth area that already houses a lot of recently arrived young families some of who are fans/members of Wanderers and some of Sydney FC. Player numbers are growing quickly but at 3.1% of population there it is significantly below the average in Sydney. With player numbers growing faster than the population growth rate and with another 200k expected by 2036 and no club in any sport competing nationally there is a significant future market.

+x+xIf they are going to be the Bulls and have black and white kits, they might as well use the old Juventus badge with the prancing bull (they're not using it anymore). Can someone do a mock up and replace 'JUVENTUS' with 'MACARTHUR'? wouldnt mind something like this Fulham's kit this season looks nice. (Not that I am a fan of any team in black and white. **shudder**)

The borders of the Dharawal nation encompass the entire Macarthur-South West Sydney catchment area while also extending beyond to the Sutherland Shire, Wollongong and the Illawarra region. So we are a nation now?

"None of the options includes "Sydney" in the title." Foxtel won't be happy. Has anyone asked the Dharawal people if this is OK with them? Maybe the would find their name being reduced to being a sporting team name demeaning... and what about the small matter of another entity owning the copyright to their name??

+x+x+xFC Bulls/ Bulls FC is an absolutely terrible name. I'd prefer Bulls not to be in the name but just be a nickname. It fits well with the history of the region with cattle that escaped from the colony of Sydney being found and thriving in what became known as Cowpastures which is part of the region the club seeks to represent. Macarthur Bulls FC is alright though Id prefer Macarthur FC with a bull/magpie logo. But just FC Bulls is arguably worse than Western United. i love that name. I'm also a Hereford supporter that's probably why though

+x+x+xMacarthur FC sounds nice and clean and then use a magpie in the logo. Thats what Id be going for. I really hope they use Macarthur rather than South West. I totally agree. X2 X3

Macarthur Red Bulls FC :P Red Bull clubs have been pretty good at youth development

+xI've just been told that the Macarthur Bulls is the local team in the Police Rugby League competition. Didn't stop Melbourne City from just barging in!
