Trump even though he is being in the polls is still a 50/50 chance.

Biden will win 224 votes
Trump will win 125 votes

Trump however will win a large swathe of other 189 electoral college votes. He is likely to get 133 and Biden is likely to get 56. This would mean a small Biden victory. However For instance Trump would only have to hold Pennsylvania (which he won last times) to win the presidency

The other thing in Trump's favour is that his base will vote. Not all dems are that fanatical for Biden. What will hurt Trump is that the independents, who swung to him heavily last time, have deserted him in droves.

Not saying he would have beaten Trump, but you need an extremist to beat an extremist.

Biden will get slaughtered.

-PB

At least would have made it a fair election. Democracy doesn't work when their is only one effective candidate.

Welp Biden wins the M's finalising the closing of ranks by the DNC to freeze out Bernie.

Four more years of Trump incoming along with the DNC losing more in the Congress/Senate in due time.

Won't see a Democrat President for a long time.

i doubt any of the dem nominees could win it. it's stacked against them and no one other than bernie really cut through the media landscape. and frankly he's too old and only doing because there's no one better.

biden is a terrible candidate. if they are lucky he will get the virus so they get another choice.

Trump is not doubt the incumbent favourite. However, if you think 'pinko' Bernie would do better than Biden then you are seriously mistaken.

Bernie would lose by more. Republicans obviously won't vote for him and 60% of the Democratic Party are more centrist or conservative and will not be jumping at the chance to vote for Bernie. By the time Trump is finished with him Trump will not only increase his elecotoral college win but alos win the popular vote this time.

Florida will be on the table with Biden which would have no hope with Bernie as the candidate.North Carolina will be in play and if he picks O'Rourke as VP Texas will also be a shot. The majority of the Democratic Party is basically conservative. The loud minority is very liberal.

Have you seen bumbling Uncle Joe, seriously if people think Donald Trump is kind of out there as a President can you imagine this guy?

Bernie is passionate & eloquent & can present a persuasive argument, he's not my cup of tea politically but if anyone can mobilise younger voters he can.

Shows where the Democrats are at when they are so terrified of Bernie that they have to play three wise monkeys & back a fucking loser like Biden.

They're going to get smashed.

'Uncle Joe' Biden? Good lord..

You'd think they want to lose the election with his history, especially his crimes in Ukraine including providing his loser drug addict son a highly paid role at a Ukrainian gas company. We could also mention his 'questionable' behaviour around little girls and women captured on camera, but maybe he's just a friendly bear. I mean, guy.

Not saying that Bernie is the answer (and there are big question marks), but the worst thing I've heard about him is that he was apparently something of a freeloader when living in a hippie commune in the 70s. Poor form socially, but hardly a criminal act.

The biggest knocks against Bernie as far as I can tell, other than the unaffordable policies are
1) his lack of successfully implementing anything in decades in the senate
2) his support for Castro and USSR when they were the USA’s biggest enemies
3) the p.ornographic fiction he published (as a 30yr old adult)
4) he’s not actually a Democrat

I’ll be stunned if Warren backs Biden. Will be interesting to see.

The thing that gets me about Biden is that he first ran for President in 1988.

Lol Warren bailing out, watch her back Biden now

The DNC wheeling and dealing is complete, successfully pissing off the youth voter base of the Democrats for a generation.

-PB

Warren supporters won’t necessarily back Bernie anyway.

But agree that Bernie supporters are gonna be pissed and probably won’t bother during the general election now.

Yeah, I can't see Biden beating Trump. Best shot was for Sanders and he was far from certain.

To be honest, coronavirus will dictate how some of this plays out.

Hilarious watching DNC closing ranks and doing deals to pile against Bernie.

Biden will get steamrolled against Trump, Democrats won't win an election for another decade.

Biden bounces back big time on Super Tuesday. The establishment machine must have promised a lot to Klobuchar and Buttigieg to drop out when they did, so their votes would swing to Biden.

Trump will beat Biden in a canter.

You can have multiple priorities as a business owner. Of course they would care about jobs and the economy but healthcare is probably the more important issue until M4A is implemented.

Healthcare is currently a cost for a business. If that was resolved via M4A, then they can use the money on wages and other areas.

This was where the Andrew Yang proposition was most compelling for me. 30% of American retail jobs (i.e small businesses) are getting sucked up due to Amazon. What happens then?

Trump will get 4 more years no matter who they put up.  He's $1.50 with the bookies at the moment.

Trump is most likely but Sanders has the best shot of all the Dems. None of the 'moderates' are viable imo.

Look past your ideology tinted world view.  The number one concern for a business owner is jobs and the economy.  Without  those, none of your social equity and spending on free health care is possible.  Jobs and a strong economy are the two pillars upon which government and personal spending rests

Only a left wing socialis st ideologue who thinks taxation or a Magic Money Theory is the way forward
