+x+x+x+xfrom memory Nancy was a local lived in Belmore Yes, that's the one. Seems to have been MIA for over a year at least. Hopefully she just got fed up with us on here & that nothing bad has happened to her.. pre or post Anderson era? I could never work out who she was, I suspected a particular person but not so sure. That is a shame as she was quite resourceful Definitely post Andos Anna... was vocal in here pre the first election... would love her view on things, the Mounties arrangement was a big dissappointent for me, as a fan of the Canterbury Cup comp. What is everybody elses view on that?

+xpre or post Anderson era? I could never work out who she was, I suspected a particular person but not so sure. That is a shame as she was quite resourceful She was keen on Justin Holbrook being the coach. I'm sure she vanished before he ended up at Gold Coast. She was a long term fan in Belmore, as were her family, but she certainly wasn't happy with the state of the club, team performance, coaching, some of the signings & it may have been the clubs failure to get Holbrook that was the final straw that tipped her over the edge (if the posts on here didn't at the time). As I said, I'm sure everyone here just hopes she's ok.

+xHi Anna, good to see some familiar names return. Nancy has been a.w.o.l. for about two seasons now. I thought of her anguish as soon as I heard that Dutchy was not going to get re-signed. Dutchy was quite emotional conclusion of last game, we sure have churned out players last 10 years. Mostly all foregetable players

+xMr McIntyre...would it be fair to say you were the architect of the salary cap cheating that saw us robbed of the 2002 Premiership? core of the issue is the arrangement with Laundys, how it got done, value of the sponsorship and other potential sponsors willing to put up with more money were turned away. Lack of disclosure of conflicts of intrerest. The board members are not all on the same page. all hearsay of course

+x+xWith all this board turmoil. Do we have alternatives to those targetted. Surely we can't just vote to get rid of. There has to be an alternative put forward complete with a detailed plan for the short and long term. Without this they will only be appear as opportunistic troublemakers. This is not to dismiss them it is what is needed to be credible. But based on what I've seen, if we are in the same boat come June next year I think the current board will be voted out and likely that voters will pick ANYONE over them. Irrespective of who is credible or not. Well, when it comes to lacking credibility you could lead the charge...

Current board hasn't done too many things wrong but nothing extraordinary either. They are just conservatives. Conservatives dont win premierships from their own doing. DIB at least showed he has some power behind the scenes to make big plays happen. I'm not a supporter of his administration but i can stand neutral on this topic and pick out flaws or attributes in either party. But based on what I've seen, if we are in the same boat come June next year I think the current board will be voted out and likely that voters will pick ANYONE over them. Irrespective of who is credible or not. But just to re-emphasise, I see no need for ANYONE to start agitating from now. They should go into their shells and allow the current mob with the latest coaching change to take effect and show some glimpses of improvement. If it remains stale or goes backwards by mid next season, they can rightly start their whispers and agitation. It's the least they can do given they had their chance and stuffed it in the first place. If its anyone new, put your case forward come mid next year and see if you can win the voting fans over.

+x+xCan anyone believe that Brenko Lee is 80mins away from playing in a GF? The same guy that could barely make 1st grade at the Dogs/Titans..... Here’s my prediction for 2021...... Dman will be crowned Mr Olympia I rated him as a player that can "produce" opportunities. Problem is.... the a way our team played his didnt get enough good ball in good field position or with players outside and in who can capitalize on his ability to break through tackles and support his potential offload. It's been our Achilles heel for too long. Since Barba and JR left, we've had no one that can fill this void. Even CHN was hampered because we disnt have any support players looking for that opportunity. Its no coincidence the top teams "seem to have lots of players in support". They fekking train for it. We train for 5 hitups fir 25m gain and a hail Mary kick..... Hopefully all that will change in 2021 under T Baz Like HD said, Villa & West Ham have virtually the same squad as last season, but look completely different so early in the season with a couple of quality inclusions

+xFor the Dogs part of unhappiness about the Anderson regeime might be the sacking of long term servants like Carden and Grimaldi. But IMO Baz is 100% right here or fitness and mental resolve was lacking ... some of that was poor game management leading to a lack of possession. There is a great formula to follow, improve every thing by X%-Y%. It is not the size of each individual improvement but the sum total of all those improvements, that is why a small improvement in one area is worth pursuing. In our case no lack of opportunities for improvement, but equally a few good things we can build on. Our team lacks players with brains no matter which way you look at it. No team is successful without smart players. None.

Getting the best out of your players. Absolutely. Storm have Lee and Olam as they centre pairing.... And probably will play a GF with them. Just shows how important it is in having a well drilled team with key players in the spine. The rest can be nuffies who just know their role.

Overall the West Ham and Villi turn around gives me hope for the Dogs.
Last season both teams tried hard were in winning positions often but failed to close out games, sound familiar.
Both made somne strategic signings of what they were missing, which in the Hammers case was workrate.
With a new season comes the opportunity to start again and build on the best of what happened previously.

+x+x+xAston Villa 7 Liverpool (current Champs) 2 Not sure you may have read it right....here it is again Aston Villa 7 Liverpool 2 West Ham 3 Leicester 0 Both teams that were struggling last year are going much better. I know Dman wants to know the nitty gritty details, but in the Hammers case it is great coaching. Hey Dman What changes will Klopp make to the Reds after that shellacking? I’m suggesting a new Board...

The overlap with the NRL is there is no substitute for workrate, speed, defensive structure, team work, team spirit, depth and quality players.
Dogs 2020 didn't have the depth and quality.
Our team does have workrate and team spirit, and in depth, quality and a bit more speed the rest is coaching.

+x+xnot when our funds were available. Narrator - The funds weren’t available. No no. It wasnt a typo or error. The funds are available for 2021 and that is what I mean. Both TB and the club may have some aces up their sleeve before kickoff next year. Or maybe TB has asked management to just give him 6 months to sort the forest from the trees.... either way, it is a risk for the board as it has some fans (and powerbrokers) already concerned for next year and may lead to internal unrest. It already is.
