+xRemember that time when Muz said "defunding the police" wasn't really about defunding and abolishing the police. :laugh:Classic Muz  Do go on. Context is important.

+xSo fascinating watching Biden's cognitive deterioration on a day by day basis. The way he's going he may be completely catatonic by November's election. It would be amazing if he was the first catatonic person ever elected to the seat of US president. Well Trump is pretty out there. :hehe:
The Dumbocrats should have gone for Bernie, he would have destroyed Trump in debates however they've gone for Dementia Joe so short of a Trump assasination, Trump getting WuFlu or Dumbocrat election fraud looks like the Democrats are going to be there loser selves for the next 4 years.

That building was burning peacefully, they did accurately describe the protest as fiery lol Seriously though the only out for CNN would be if the title was written before the fire, etc. was known. Errors in live TV do happen, of course. They'd have to prove this though.

Bring on Altered Carbon. Just watched Elon Musk's Neuralink presentation, the potential is mind blowing (pun intended) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVvmgjBL74w

OMG, you're condemning the left wing news... Now that you've beaten him to it, the goalposts need to change again.

It's a weird stat to advertise. They should look into the detail. What happened with the 93% v 7%? How did the violence arise and what was the police action?

John McCain's widow Cindy endorsing Biden is significant as their home state of Arizona and its 11 votes are already leaning blue according to polls, could tip the balance in what could be a crucial swing state.
Arizona's only voted Democrat once (for Clinton's second term) since Truman won in 1948.

Arizona's only voted Democrat once (for Clinton's second term) since Truman won in 1948. I gather they're family friends, too. But still a big endorsement. I hope that the the swing voters and the traditional Republicans (in the John and Cindy McCain vein) vote for Joe Biden. Particularly in those crucial swing states. My impression is that in '16, plenty of the undecided either didn't bother to vote (as they didn't want to vote for Hillary Clinton as president) or they actually voted for Donald Trump. The same would have applied to many Republicans. I'd wager that there were plenty of people who usually vote Democrat who didn't vote in 2016.

Landslide win for Jacinta Ardern's Labour in NZ.
Start of a trend for post-covid elections in the Anglosphere?

That's one takeaway, but I think it also depends on the public's view of said incumbent's covid response, sorry if I wasn't more clear. I also think a shift left during/shortly after hard times is pretty well established in general, classic example being Churchill losing to Attlee towards the end of WWII, the former still today revered but the latter going on to set up the NHS.

I agree. Most elections will probably be a referendum on COVID handling. That's the number one issue in the US at the moment, followed by the economy.

No one here care to comment on Joe Biden’s advice that in order to curb police fatalities they should shoot suspects “in the leg”, rather than the body? Oh that’s right, you probably wouldn’t know he said this since Facebook and Twitter have teamed up with the Democrats to censor negative publicity that’s makes Biden look bad.
