My impression is that in '16, plenty of the undecided either didn't bother to vote (as they didn't want to vote for Hillary Clinton as president) or they actually voted for Donald Trump. The same would have applied to many Republicans. I'd wager that there were plenty of people who usually vote Democrat who didn't vote in 2016.

I agree. Most elections will probably be a referendum on COVID handling. That's the number one issue in the US at the moment, followed by the economy.

The handling and or lack  thereof has trump and the repubs rrunning scared.  Hence the conspiracy theory about mail in voting 

No one here care to comment on Joe Biden’s advice that in order to curb police fatalities they should shoot suspects “in the leg”, rather than the body? Oh that’s right, you probably wouldn’t know he said this since Facebook and Twitter have teamed up with the Democrats to censor negative publicity that’s makes Biden look bad.
