+x+x+x+x+x+x+xAston Villa playing their 1st EPL of the season right now..... are a man up after SU player got sent off at the 14th minute mark.
Much like the Bulldogs, with a man advantage, we still don’t look like scoring & just conceded a penalty only for a brilliant save by our new goalie Halftime Villa 0 - SU 0 Villa 1 SU 0 Game Over Villa make hard work of it but take the 3pts to start the campaign Dman would like to know more .... we need to keep him well informed. Awful way to start my daily social media experience with a half dozen posts about soccer.... Please refrain from posting this crap or Ill report it to the admins... Agree ..it may encourage other unnamed persons to rant on about the AFL AFL? Do they still play that game?

At least seven spots to fill in the 30 (assuming it stays at 30, which at last reports it seems it will). And that’s counting current known 2021 new signings.
So I think Tom’s got some more up his sleeve, maybe semi-finalists?

Mainly because we have seen what he can do and he could potentially do again. He was nearly origin level both with us and also Dragons. Secondly because we don't exactly have any standouts to replace him with as well as Holland and Montoya. I guess this means we will be going hard at the market for replacement centres.....

Attack wise he’s ok.... defensively he’s way off the pace.
Plus he’s a little undersized.

Otherwise all good decisios. Sue not that bad as an occasional fill in, I assume that this means we are signing someone better. Lafai has been going backwards for 5 yearz, he makes a lot of dumb decisions. A player with his experience should be smarter.

He does make more bad decisions than he use to but he still has skill and can setup his winger. Recent guys we've had (Holland, Montoya and even Reimis Smith) just cant do it. Anyway, I hope TB has eyes for a big name centre coz Cotric is a better winger than centre and RSmith is far from a center.

How do you know Cotric is a better winger than centre when virtually untried in that position in NRL, and only having watched 1 games the blokes played which was probably Origin???.,,

+xZef, you said hopefully a few more to follow.... who else would you like to see set loose? Well that’s a good question that I don’t have a ready answer for. As everyone left is under contract for ‘21, my thought process was that we’d be looking to bring more in than the 7-8? spots available and so be looking to find a home for somebody under contract if we could get a better like for like replacement. As always seems to be the case recently, there’ll be somebody or somebodies unexpected hitting the market before ‘21 kickoff and if we have to move somebody on to fit him in I’m hoping we will. Because apart from a very select core, I think a drastic overhaul of the roster will be a good thing. So the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned. Not many I’d shed a tear over for a better replacement. In fact the only ones I can think of as absolute keepers are the ones we’ve put the development time into and see as long term. The rest are transitory and it’s transit time.

22 currently contracted for '21:
DWZ, Meaney, Crichton, Okunbor, Hoppa, Cotric, R. Smith, Wakeham, Lewis, Green, Averillo, JMK, Kotoa, C. Smith, Elliot, Britt, Jackson, Stimson, RFM, Thompson, Napa, Ogden.
Of them, the ones I'd have as off limits:
Meaney, Okunbar, Cotric, Wakehan, Averillo, Elliot, Jackson (only out of loyalty, need much more from him or this time next year the loyalty's burnt) RFM, Thompson, Ogden.
The rest are free to leave given a better offer for them and a better replacement for us IMO.

The rest are transitory and it’s transit time. They can simply wait until players are off contract, unless a great opportunity arises, then look at a player swap. Backloading and paying guys to play elsewhere needs to be minimised.

Not looking to pay to play elsewhere. But tell them if they've got a multi-year offer elsewhere they can have it because they won't be renewed here.

What a surprise ...SMH gets the facts wrong. Cloughessy is the family name of George Barnes the wrestler....brotehr of the former Western Suburbs player Bill Cloughessy... hopefully both will benefit from this...bought by their FATHER...also named Bill Cloughessy and not Bill the younger. https://www.domain.com.au/news/balmains-largest-privately-held-estate-hoped-to-smash-local-record-at-11m-989659/?utm_campaign=strap-masthead&utm_source=smh&utm_medium=link&utm_content=pos5&ref=pos1
