I thought Mabil's first touch to bring the ball down for his cheeky little stab at the near post in the Liverpool game was the sexiest bit of skill I have seen from an Australian player all year...... Amazing what UCL exposure does for some of our lads.

Holland go the full 90 in a 3-1 win, they go out with 10 points. Would have gone through if they had either gotten a point at home to Antwerp or Antwerp didn’t beat Tottenham.

James Jeggo is fit for the weekend. He last played on November 29. Don't know what his injury was. They are playing PAOK this weekend, I would probably try and watch but it is on at 4:30am Sunday (AEDT).

This is actually a very tense derby for more reasons than one this year. Salonica as a city is bearing the brunt of covid in Greece and its also been many years since both Aris and PAOK where competitive at the same time.... if normal crowds where allowed in the atmosphere would be f#cking insane..... as in 1000s of flares and probably a death or at least a heavy injury to someone... If Jeggo bags a couple and gets them the win the "worms" will build a statue of him.....

I get the feeling this may be his last season as their No. 1 and he'll be either a back up or joining a team on the continent. 

Seems like he may not be making any howlers but just not pulling off saves that perhaps top keepers make to keep their team in it.
