The stadium was meant to be open for this season.

I actually ate at a Greek restaurant at Redcliffe just before the Roar game last Saturday. Lovely food but too limited in variety. Much prefer Italian cuisine although I eat Chinese at least once a week with Thai every couple of weeks. My diet is multicultural. Unlike yours.

My belief on whether this "stadium" will go ahead is irrelevant., lets just look at the facts. 
Your mates, HAVE NOT, completed the planning stage (at least not all of it as admitted even in their press release) , they have not finalized even to the planning stage for the necessary infrastructure required in the area to even begin the construction process of the stadium and this was, according to the reasons everyone agrees the FFA gave them a license 3 years ago now, supposed to have been "shovel ready" and none can still answer my question as to who the actual financial owners of WU are?
I understand that the Aleague aficionados really want this to work out but I am not convinced it will. As I have repeatedly said, lets wait until something out there in Tarneit actually starts happening before you all get too excited. If Im wrong and it does happen like you all dream, well OK then Ill eat my words.

All this is good enough reason to express concern, especially about the original decision, when already, those initial promises have proven to be fake.
On top of that, we still don't know who the owners are, presumably they are foreign, but we don't know.
On top of that, it's all tied to real estate, just as the original South Sydney bid was (the one Fozz supported), and that ended being merely an attempt at trying to get cheap land to develop property - all done by a Chinese firm! They had zero interest in the footballing side.
