+x+xAlso we're working with a lobby group about a stadium in the Bankstown - Liverpool corridor. Tony Burke (Labor NSW) is a club patron and is working with the club in some capacity re the stadium lobbying and sponsorship and David Littleproud (NATS Qld) is also a club patron working on QLD sponsorship opportunities. Freaking Oasis project! Imagine where we could have been. Yep, that was bloody keystone cops, amateur hour stuff, if I ever saw it. Hagan took over from Bullfrog becuase (apparently) Bulldog didn't want others like those involved in Oasis running the joint. Hagan was just too old and later on was sick, the train ran off the rails in that era, and we are just getting it back on the rails. Oasis, the salary cap, Coffs Harbour and Des, cost us plenty. A good management team would have avoided the mess, or kept Des on a tight leach and that whole era would have been better. Good management of the club isn't a luxuary, it is essential.

+xThere's gonna be a lot of "departing players" and it will be handled with respect and honesty. Cleanout coming. Thank goodness on the cleanout. We have (rightly or wrongly) been a club that "looks after our players" by keeping them a year 2 longer than most others. All in the sake of respect and honesty. Unfortunately, I dont think it has been reciprocated except for 2003 when our big name players took paycuts to stay together

A lot of the stuff that is on sale, is usually on sale for a reason, it takes great judgement and skill to pick up a player on sale who can be turned around. It is a gamble. You guys coming through the grades are a known commodity in all respects and good value for money. For good NRL players you need to pay accordingly look for quality and pay for it.

+xYou got it!...when the 12th Man was really good he was hard to beat...could play The Final Dig 3 times a week and not get tired of it....all the greats in one...Bill, Tony and Darryl Eastlake.AND Hanse Cronje AND Martin Crowe... In an interview, Billy Birmingham was relating how Tony Greig told him that he played a 12th Man album to Kerry Packer. Billy asked “Did he like it?” Tony replied “He lorfed his orse orf.”

Well the Tits are going great. Disintergrating after surrendering a 22 point lead. Just goes to show that no matter how much you pay or how many you buy, imports are not always the answer.

Mdog we have bought a few but we are sprinkling a lot of juniors throughout as well so I am hoping we get the balance right. We look 100% healthier than the Des era.

That game was queensland derby rugba leeg at it's best. High attack, high scoring and p!ss poor defence. Isn't that exactly what V'landys thinks the fans want.

Their defence was ordinary and their attack is repetitive. Broncos fullback is poor positionally cleaning up kicks, but great running the ball, neither side can tackle. That is the first half in ine sentence. Tits didn't offer much threat in attack 2nd half.

The game showed the ref will always back the Brisbane crowd. That new halfback milked three penalties including the binning. All were rubbish calls. The ref was either incompetent or deliberately cheated to ensure the scum of the league won.

Mate, there's nothing up with buying. This week, 6 of our 7 backs and 4 of our 5 forwards and more coming next year. As I say nothing up with it

A lot of forward passes and I mean a lot were conveniently overlooked. Brisbane were given lots of favours but the Tits didn't really put up much opposition either.

+xWe need to defend this set. I'm calling it now. We are the worst team in the comp. We cannot defend the 6 agains we willingly give away and we cant apply pressure on the opposition. It's like betting on a result that has 1 in 30 chance in winning. No hope
