Ange will need a full season to impose his game on the team, as we here all know from all his previous appointments.
There will be defeats in the start of this season, possibly a heavy one to Rangers in round 4 of the league.
He absolutely will excel and do great things at Celtic, provided the board, media and fans to have the patience and forbearance needed in the teething phase.
As long as they stay the course, Ange and Celtic can and will go far.

While I want Ange to be successful, I honestly don’t think he has the cattle this season even with last minute recruits to be a threat in the champions league. id much prefer Celtic enter the Europa league and have a good crack at that. If Celtic lose to there opening tie in the champions league qualifying do this still have a chance to be in Europa??

I started a post on how it could go and who you could face but there's so many ways it could go. The good news is that there'll most likely be some more European games at any given level to give Ange extra match time to implement his game.

Hey I’m hearing a few rumours that Celtic are looking at Curtis Good from Melbourne City… he is a gun centre back, has City group links, played in Scotland before and I believe Ange does rate him from the national team days. is he over his injuries? Always thought he’d be something special and cross my fingers he would play at the highest level… Celtic do need centre backs and he would be a cheap option

I never quite remembered him as a “ gun “ at either Dundee United or Melbourne City.

A lot of people against it for then financial reasons etc and I understand it, yet I find the new Conference League a novelty from a footballing standpoint. Certainly some decent clubs in there already and clubs from everywhere except the EPL will give it it a shot.
The tourism opportunities and array of opponents will see it become just reward for those who did well in the league suffered at the hands of a tough qualification draw.

I like the idea of it, like that of the Europa League it has more of an old school European Cup feel with teams representing a broader Europe. Compared to the almost closed league that is the Champions League which barely represents Europe as a whole anymore. Unfortunately the money on offer in the Champions League is so huge that it is almost the life blood for the second tier teams - those teams fighting to sit at the table with the elite teams just to get some of the pie that gets leftover, even though they know they have next to no chance of winner anything.

Ajer will be leaving too I'll have to agree to disagree. (1) If he is the answer to our defensive issues than we are in trouble. (2) If he does get signed (which I will be surprised if true) I cannae see him being the only signing, and would more then likely be used as a backup which wouldn't be seen as good news from Australia point of view, especially on an Australian forum.

Lol "Giro" is the term for unemployment payments in the UK. It is used to describe Celtic fans by rival club(s) fans in Scotland claiming that we are all unemployed neds. It seems like 'Sutherlandbear' is on a mission to use as many of the "opposition nicknames" as possible 😲😄 Though I do like your spin on the use of the term 😉😊

It may even help a certain Greek goalkeeper become "world class" 🤔😁

+x+xReally enjoy it. Watched and compared some of Lennon's stuff. Just a lame duck. They're pretty impressed on the talkceltic forum! Sure, he didn't invent pass and move, but they're beginning to learn that Ange is special in his way to get a team to believe in it. I would suggest you try the Kerrydale street forum a bit more sophisticated and way less Aussies talking pish.
