+x+xMy favourite is when they have 'Against modern football' banners or clothing.
It is rather cringeworthy here, that is across a-league, state league and NPL. Completely manufactured.
how so in the state league levels? are you saying clubs from the 50's so on are manufactured? lol. the only thing that is cringeworthy is AL Fans who are "against modern football" He will answer for himself, but I got the impression he meant the 'ultras' movement was manufactured - not the clubs.
When I wear their colours, I am the club.

+x+x+x+x+x+x+xMCG's City millionaires plays tonight against the semi pro Greek Hamo Olympic from 2nd tier NNSW now known as Newcastle Olympic. Been a strong NPL Club for sometime. Kudos them getting this far, look forward watching tonight - upa fellas, if you can't beat em hurt em :) You sound like a typical Aleague "active" supporter mate. hahahahahahahah fine and ban lol........ Ive been "banned" from the Aleague for 18 years. hahahahahahahahah Thank Christ. Trust me, you'll be doing the Sirtaki the moment you get promoted to the AL. His behoved club was happy to pay the 18 mil entry fee too a few years back 🤣 His beloved former club told his current plastic one to get fucked last year. :) and this year, and the following year ( if its still around) The plastic one that won the cup but i guess everyone has to start at some point. Lets hope we do see a game between the almighty SMFC v Plastic united in the A League one day 👍

Watched Devonport Strikers V Wellington Ph last night.
Devonport played better football than I've seen them play live in the Tassie NPL over the last few seasons. They have tended to rely on counter attacks. The played more proactively last night. However, they were outclassed by Nix. The Kiwi team was just too good.

You'd think Adelaide City would be keen for the extra gate takings at Hindmarsh. It's not like Marden is their actual home ground anyway

+xBroadmeadows is a good distance away from Avondale Heights. Seems to be the go to venue for them lately for any night matches.
Their ground in Parkville is not equipped for them to play night matches at, and many years ago they played some matches at Somers Street (Knights).

They have a temp grandstand rented from Bunnings with plastic sides, maybe 200 seats.... no shelter anywhere else, hell on a hot March day and even worse if it rains..... no lights as you say... the gypsies of Victorian NPL as they travelled around from ground to ground until the Calabrian club made them an "offer they couldn't refuse"..... Will be re-branded as Western United Avengers soon enough.

I didn’t even remember there were matches on tonight.
Just saw what appeared ti be the line up for Macarthur. Did Najjar line up at left back? Arzani as a striker?
This forum is so quiet these days.

comes down to how much attention you pay I guess Heart. I watched the Greens SFC match. Always great value the Greens as most know, played a very good 1st half pressed well won the middle but couldn't convert. SFC played alot of youth naturally - a nice long ball behind Greens backs had young Segecic run onto it and finished it of well not before HT. That settled SFC. Greens Riak is a beast might I add good no9. SFC had a corner round 60min mark and the Greens marking was soft allowed young CB Gurd no contest header put away sadly 2up. Greens came back well and that Adachi coming on turned the game Greens way again was good to watch. Redders was the diff the last 20 mind you, he pulled off couple of great refelct saves and covered well between the sticks. A Green raid down the right flank created another nice cross that Riak met perfectly glanced just inside far post and Redmayne, nice goal 86min mark. Greens pressed more SFC we're hanging on pity they couldn't level the score. Wasn't that impressed with SFC new spanish signing Caballo, dudded 2 set play kicks that at this standard you do with your eyes closed to hit the marks.. Who watched the Modbury Bulls game ? Heart looks like Arzani/Najjer started up. During the broadcast only got to see the goals - I know there is a member here who doesn't like Rose from Bulls, he scored a couple looked like he had a good game. My only interest in him is purely based due to my son playing with him @ Spartans prior to the Bulls signing him up.
Love Football

This forum is so quiet these days. Arzani started up front with Toure as striker, Rose other wing. ‘Secondary assist’ for Arzani for Toure goal. Rose with assist and 2 goals- looking sharp. Modbury looked quite threatening in first 5 minutes or so before Bulls took control

I would have liked to watch all four games live. Each of them has something of genuine interest for me but I don't really like watching when I know the scores already (and I will know). Shame that a weeknight does not allow a series of games.

I thought this was the one running thread across all games...? Some people like to talk about the whole Cup where others ignore this thread and just comment in the ones with games they like.
