Anyone in Sydney hearing much PR for Thursdays Hoops game vs SFC ? I haven't so far. Looking at the Toffee game for Sunday, spouse Lampard will be at ease not having his own supporter base sticking it up him , if there is many Evertonian support for that matter.

Celtic's offer to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors for South Korea striker Cho Gue-sung did not meet expectations - his club want £2.2m - as the 24-year-old's agent also denied rumours linking his client with an immediate move to Galatasaray.
Quality striker with two world cup goals. Worth at least 3m pounds surely.

Giakoumakis to Uwara Red Diamonds in Japan for about 6-7 mil, and Cho Gue Sung to Celtic for 3 mil, it seems.

Inevitably linked to Leeds job but there are plenty of others further ahead. I felt like it would be an absolute no but then thought if you coach Celtic, you could go most places and have less pressure from the fans at least.

you think ? Toffees are no diff to Hoops fans that I see..... Only Martinez and Moyes have come out of tenures there intacked, rest following have copped heaps on game days, Benetiz the worst. Lampard was on a train wreck from the get go and with stuff all coaching cred in the first place, stooopid appointment.. Board members have to keep away from attending games avoiding abuse from the fans. Ange should stay there get his title consider offers after if inclined to move on. I think its wiser building a dynasty and make inroads in the CL for some real browny points.

Yeah Everton and Leeds fans don't let managers get away with much at all. I mean I said most places. Clubs like Southampton come across as incredibly tame currently.
I think a big difference is the EPL has the media and prestige pressure on top. It's so cut throat. While Celtic are a massive club and managing there should help you understand what it takes to satisfy such a demanding role, the league itself sees a massive drop down in coverage and even scrutiny.
I agree Ange should cement a better footprint before deciding on what's next. Marsch has ideas but has been caught out twice now.

I don't think Leeds deserves to be in the same sentence as Everton here. Biases aside, I am a Leeds supporter. Leeds supporters have been very positive about Marsch and the consensus is simply that he isn't good enough. He had some unfortunate headwinds in the sense that after surviving relegation on the last day, our off season trading window was us being a meat market. Still, results are results and we find ourselves under threat of relegation and Marsch hasn't produced a win in 8 matches. Something had to give. Marcelo is still considered a god by fans and many will welcome him back. However what got him undone was that we didn't have the cattle to play his style of football. I suspect it may be similar for Ange if he comes over. I'd love Ange at Leeds, but half way through a season to come in when we are near the drop zone is a recipe for disaster. Ange needs 1-2 full seasons to get the players conditioned for how he wants to play. By then we'd be back in the championship. Does Ange really want to go to the EPL by the way? He's constantly linked but I don't recall him ever saying it himself. I suspect for him, like Rogic, Viduka et al, I don't think he minds at all being remembered as a Celtic legend. Plenty of worse things in football.

a ex Hoops/Gooner saying his piece no diff to Carra/Neville's and all....... Here's another https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/10186977/ange-postecoglou-premier-league-leeds-celtic-steve-evans/Not surprising where most of the articles originate from. In saying that I'd be spinning my head Ange coming to Anfield but can't see that happenning for sometime. Ange just stay there if you know whats good for you is my feelings as mentioned.

Ange would be mad to leave now. Missed the transfer window and has always needed time to implement his style. The off season is that time not now.
Stay at the hoops, win another title & maybe a cup and your stocks rise further with champions league qualification.

As a Leeds fan I agree 100%. Don’t think Ange is the guy to lead us in a relegation battle. But if worst was to happen, I reckon Ange would be a great choice to chase promotion.

Not to diminish Ange's achievements but in a 2 team league just statistically you're going to win half the trophies on offer. I don't know how people follow the SFL or La Liga for that matter. Every game is virtually a fait accompli. Really looking forward to him moving onto the EPL when that inevitably happens.

Im not saying SPL is a two horse race but I would think the manager of either Celtic or Rangers has got to be the most stressful, tenuous position in Scottish football....
