The Panthers/Cows game was an example of penalties and 6-agains changing the outcome.

Poms were on top for a while just becuase Warner unfortunately didn't execute the shot. If he puts it away for 4, that gets Warner started, and Labs and Smithy are coming in to bat in different circumstances.

Hazelwood summed it up, the poms are playing one day cricket,  all that matters is the score they post. We don't need to rush if they are accelerating the game.

The only real danger for us is the wicket breaking up day 4 / 5. I don't overly rate the pom spinners, if needed we can probably bat out a draw. In fact depending on the match situation and the pitch conditions perhaps we should aim for a draw.

Flat decks always mean boring cricket.

This is England, rainy weather are a seaming wicket will happen sooner or later. Let's watch the poms attempt to play one day cricket on a seaming pitch.

The media can't tell the difference between mindless enertainment and genuine sport. Genuine test cricket starts with a pitch that gives the bowlers a chance.

I am still cheering on the Dogs hoping for a desperately needed win today.... it isn't impossible but we need to play to lur full potential and no room for poor options and dumb mistakes...

You're  right, but our problems are a lot deeper than 2 players.

The game went with posession, the team was worn down in the end, but the defence was softer with out TPJ, Patolo and Morrin.

No Edwards in tbe middle and no Burton kicking has cost us. 

Karl didn't nail the kicking game or playing in the middle.

At least CC finally shifted Perham from fullback.

Nothing to lose try to score some points in the second half.
