Like most people on this forum it was great to see Ange appointed as manager of an EPL club. However it was disillusioning for him when a large section of the Spurs supporters did not want their side to win against Man City so that their hated North London rivals had less chance of topping the premiership.Ironic that Man City is owned by fabulously wealthy Middle Eastern oil sheiks and that historically Spurs had a strong Jewish identity.I know that this is no longer the case as the Jewish influence has been diluted but still the Spurs fans stance struck me as paradoxical.
I also know that club rivalries run deep in world football, particularly in Europe and South America(Rangers v Celtic,Barcelona v R Madrid,Boca Juniors v River Plate and Penarol v Nacional are prime examples) but a true supporter should never hope his side loses a game or perhaps I am old fashioned.

The Club is delighted to announce that our Men’s first team will travel to South Korea as part of its pre-season tour of Asia this summer 🇰🇷 We will compete in the Coupang Play Series 2024, which will include a fixture against @FCBayern at the iconic Seoul World Cup Stadium

yes its strange ol world Booney. Anyway I'm sure Ange is glad to see the back of his first tenure in the top flight. Still think under the circumstances he has done very well. Will be watching what transpires over the summer, he needs to pull in players that suit his game. I look forward watching their coming Toon game at Marvel tomorrow night and pics sent to me from daughter and spurs devotee boyfriend, I'm sure they will enjoy.

I think most Spurs fans would have taken 5th at the start of the season after losing Harry Kane. Problem is that Spurs made such a great start that people thought they'd go on to win the league. Squad is not deep enough to challenge City, Arsenal and Liverpool.

I reckon ange was using it to have a bet both ways in case he gets another offer There is no way he didn't know what spurs fans are like
Ange has consistently shown in the latter stages of his career he is prepared to jump quite quickly, I reckon this public reaction was an multi-layered insurance policy,

There was NO WAY that they were going to be contending at all, not with that old squad lacking bench and adjusting without Kane near 30 goals.

One was convinced that the reason for all the security at the match is to protect the VIPs like Son and Maddison. HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAH Enjoy the match tonight, Im sure you will be supporting the "right" club? :P

Did Levy speak with some Qatari group a while ago about investing?

+xwow Poch gone via mutual consent... maybe he got word of the United job opening up soon? he's too nice a bloke for that toxic club and people say Spurs is OT is far worse and huge rebuild. I reckon he would have had his chelsea troops in good stead for next season as it was starting to show, their loss imo. DeZerbi is mentioned and would be a good catch.

Vicario was filmed sigh a Sherrin. Ange supports Carlton, doesn't he? Wish they'd rejected all AFL meet ups.
If only an AFL journalist had asked why a meet up was rejected with something along the lines of just being too busy with their own game the evident reach and growth in Australia too.

Ange is a Carlton die hard. Back in the day the sherrins would come out often at South training sessions.

It doesn't get 2bob of my hard earned, never has or views on my mobile, time you guys started not providing tick sales. MCG - bang on re football making the noise, mind you unlike some here who quote didn't know these EPL clubs were here, shows they are not on the page themselves re football and whats doing here for it is big news having 2 OS large EPL Clubs on our shores, the small mindedness of no aussie to view is more ignorance imo. At least Ange quoted in a press interview the other day this is good for football here, the exposure, but who exploited it ??? the FA ? nope not that I could see. He even quoted it highlighted football in regards to the AL GF coming up. This place, meaning Oz its such a joke about football and so many peoples look at it all.

Sure thing mate, stop banging on about NRL then and we'll see if we can get the whole of Victoria, SA, TAS, WA and NT to accommodate your wishes :).
