That Vergos looked fairly insipid last night I thought. 

Bruno didn't get a run either 

He doesn’t look better than Bruno at all.

And Vergos was up against a CB pairing of two guys who aren’t CB’s and have a combined age of 75.

I like Bruno and Reec better. Vergos doesn't excite me but he's probably better in the air than the other two. 

It's one cup game so I will not judge him yet. 

On the flipside MV had a 40 and 20 year old CB pairing and Adelaide couldn't score either

Kisnorbo said post match that he ‘stood by decision not to have Arzani in squad’. 

Something is going on there. 

I can't help but feel that it was a directive not decided by PK. I have no inside information, but it was a very, very strange decision. 

If what i said is true, then the club has thrown him under the bus... Not very smart when he was an unpopular choice amongst the fans to begin with.

As for yesterday performance, it was very reminiscent with last year. Did enough to win the game, but didn't take our chances. Every shot on target was easy meat for the keeper 

Nobody on forum knows why but what could possible reasons be for MV telling Kisnorbo not to pick him??

I remember kisnorbo probably didnt play tilio as often as id like too. Seems to undervalue technicians who can unlock a set defence

Yep I think he doesn’t like players who have the flair to try something different in the final third, no wonder these kind of coaches want system players so they can play like robots for them.

I knew something was sus with Arzani exclusion from the team in one aus cup game when he came off the bench late in the game.

It must be one of the frustrating parts of the football when a new coach comes in after you been playing under the old coach and then the new coach decides he has a different opinion of you.

It would be a shame he gets sidelined just because of differences. 

I watched the first half and we played them off the park. Vergos missed a sitter and Kurto played a blinder. We played some really pretty football. 

I was surprised by the result but a sucker punch against the play on happens sometimes. That's football. 

I think Victory under Kisnorbo is chalk and cheese compared to Popa so far. That comparison is off imo. We're far more positive and our ball movement is quicker. I like our midfield with Teague, Valadon and Machach. 

A public fight with the coach isn't a great career move. My take would be personality clash / attitude or perceived attitude issues.

Santos looks like a left sided forward. That spells trouble for Arzani. It's frustrating how this is playing out.
