Edited by imnofreak: 15/8/2010 09:32:24 PM Pim was doing ok in mine. But two mis-firings at the asian cup have seen him sacked. That awesome aussie that I posted has been called into the english youth NT set-up. Going to be hard work for australia to steal him back but I hope they can.

Last night I played through the end of my first season with Tottenham (finished at like 6:30am because I didn't want to quit).
We ended third after pushing all the way for the title, our big challenge ended when we drew the 2nd last game 3-3, after taking a 3-0 lead all the way to the 70th minute, I took off Santana (my 35 million euro striker) to protect him, and that seemed to trigger the other team, who smashed in 3 goals bang bang fucking bang and dropped us from 1 point behind United to 3.
We were 1st at a couple points, with Chelsea and Arsenal drawing, and United being 1-0 down to Blackpool, who missed a penalty to go 2-0 up, and couldn't stop United coming back to win 1-2 despite that penalty also being a red card before half-time.
Then we lost the last game of the season to Bradford 1-2, despite having 25 shots to 4. United won anyway, but we dropped from 2nd to 3rd because of it.
Then we had the FA Cup final vs Stoke (tycoon owned), and we had a comfortable 2-0 win there.
I'm the greatest Australian manager of all time \o/
Need to strengthen the squad, we lack depth and quality at AMR and in midfield, and I'm going to try and get the great on-loan keeper I had last year as well.

Wanted to take on the Brazil job, got rejected for some guy who retired from playing 2 years ago and hasn't coached anyone.
Had an immense transfer window though.
Frees: 3 star potential Turkish left back 4.5 CA star keeper from Blackburn, 30 years old but he's got crazy stats all over. A 24 year old French DMC from Inter, very good all-rounder will be great for my depth.
Out: 4 or so old fringe players, and a crap English DC for 1.2mil.
In: A pacey Spanish striker for 15 million from Atletico. Will be off the bench since I play 4-5-1 but so much better than the other backup strikers. Also being trained as an AMR and I think he'll kill that position as well.
A fast Spanish AMR on loan from Fiorentina for 275k. Injured in pre-season though, so he'll be back after the first month of the season.
27 year old Iranian AMR, fast (everyone in my team is fast), good dribbler, good technique, will do a job. Cost 17.5 million, but worth it since I needed quality in that position.
22 year old Brazilian AMC who can actually defend as well. Will push for the starting attacking MC spot, but will probably start in one of the 2 box to box midfielder positions.

Just lost the league title on the last day to Chelsea. Needed them to lose against Hull so never really expected it just pissed off that I couldn't take advantage of their slip ups. Whenever they drew I'd draw ](*,) Got the FA Cup Final against Man City and the Champions League Final against Madrid coming up, so hopefully can get a win in both of those games and avoid the sack
EDIT](*,) ](*,) ](*,) Andrea Fucking Barzagli. FA Cup was heading towards a penalty shootout when he decides to put a header into his own net from 6 yards out, and might I add, under no pressure what so ever.

Epic FM session.
5 games to go I was sitting in 3rd with Arsenal. Behind Man Utd and Tottenham trailing by 4 pts. I end up winning the title by 6 pts. :)
To go with the 2nd straight Premier League title Arsenal also collected the 2nd straight Champions League title. - Knockout Stage: Arsenal defeat A.S Saint Etienne 6-2 on aggregate. - Quarter Final: Arsenal defeat AC Milan 5-3 on aggregate. - Semi Final: Arsenal defeat Chelsea 1-0 on aggregate. (All because of B-52) - Final: Arsenal defeat Real Madrid 4-1.
FA Cup: 4th Round: Arsenal defeat Watford 4-0 5th Round: Arsenal defeat Chelsea 0-0 (5-4 on penalties) 6th Round: Arsenal defeat Newcastle United 2-0 Semi Final: Arsenal defeat Manchester United 3-3 (4-1 on penalties) Final: Liverpool defeat Arsenal 2-2 (9-8 on penalties)
Couldnt quite capture the FA Cup, going down in an epic penalty shootout to Liverpool.
I also got pumped 4-1 by Manchester United in the League Cup final.

Just scored my most craziest goal ever. My midfielder lobbed the ball towards goal from inside our half, then Viduka (who was being treated by physio next to their goal) gets up, receives the pass and then scores the goal even though he was about 30 meters offside.
I guess I need an update.

Finished my second season in the EPL with Ipswich. Third spot :D.
Also made the quarters of the Europa league. Dominating :)
Gonna need a new ST, RM and DM. Already agreed a deal for a 4.5 star LB from Real for 5mil. :D

3 Seasons into a new save with Bristol Rovers. Been improving every year. 1st Season: Relied mainly on loan signings to get anywhere apart from a new Keeper (Franky Fielding, got called up for England IRL the other week:p), we ended up finishing 10th
2nd Season: More loans, but made a couple of free transfers to get the basis of our own squad happening, and we did better. Spent all year in the top 6 and ended up finishing 3rd. Got knocked out of the Playoff Semi.
3rd Season: Only 2 loans this season, and a ton of new free transfers. Finished 4th, and made it to the Playoff Final.
So i've got the basis of a good squad, but needs a couple of improvements. And that's where the problems start. I've got no room in the Budgets to bring in any new players. Going to be tough, and the Board are expecting promotion.

Well, certainly had a busy off season!!
After finishing third in my second season in the EPL, I was given 55mil budget. Immediately went about my business!
OUTS:
Milad Ahadi loan finished. Was my starting RM, good player. Wim Wetzel loan finished. Backup LM. Omar Al-Shehri to PSG - 8.25mil. Bought him a few years ago for 5mil, did well for me but wasn't cutting it leading the line on his own, so out he goes. Erlantz Duenas to Torino -3mil. Signed on a free last season, but with a new LB coming in, he wasn't needed as backup anymore. Will Madden to Hannover - 1.5mil. Was at the club when I arrived, was great in CCC but older now and not EPL quality. Nikola Nikolic to Dortmund - 6mil. Signed last year for 7mil to shore up the midfield, but now at 33 time to move on. Henry Hernandez to Genoa - 5mil. One of my first signings at the club, outstanding keeper. Made 160 apps and kept 75 clean sheets. Alejandro Ros to Athletic - 3.8mil. Striker backup, scored the winner in the FA Cup final which was a nice farewell. George Moore to Bristol City - 1.8mil. Young keeper not fulfilling potential. Clint Roest loan.
TOTAL: 42.5mil
INS
Veselin Savic from Real Madrid - 5mil. 4.5 star LB with bags of quality, snapped him up whilst he was listed. Starting LB. Marty Mcdonald from Chelsea - 7mil. Replacement for Omar, great physically and already proving to be a good signing. Victor Villanueva - Free transfer. 4 star GK, released from Spurs and absolutely stoked to get such quality for free. Joseph Ferrer from Man City - loan. Replacement for Ros, just backup to the front two. Decent player. Aaron Hayes from Leeds - 23mil. Big money signing, for a big player. Beast of a DM, still young, class player. Marcos from Porto - loan. Replacement for Wetzel, cover at LM. Decent young player. Christian Larsen from Benfica - 1.5mil. On the market, replacement for Madden. Cover for the CM. Henk Schaap from A.C - 30mil. Big signing, overpaid a little but needed to bring in a MR, and he is still a very good player. Valerio Martella from Bologna - loan. Cover at DC and DM. Alcides Raschle from Leicester - 16mil. Right back who can play Left and centre too. Solid player, needed a right back.
TOTAL: 87mil
Won the Community Shield too which was nice.
Looking forward to challenging for top 4 again this season.
And yes, I am just passing time till Pool KO.

Just took my AFC Wimbledon side to the Premiership. 2020/21 season.
Had an incredible crop of youngsters and regens which I moulded into a formidable side - and complemented with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Phillipe Coutinho.

In the middle of a match where I've lost 4 players to injury before half time.
Starting MC The MC I replaced him with. Had to switch to 4-4-2 because I didn't have any more MC's on the bench and put on a striker. Centerback Starting striker. Now playing 4-4-1
:nono:
2-0 up though. Knowing my luck the keeper will stub his toe taking a goal kick in the 2nd half.
