That's what happens when the stadiums degrade or fall into disrepair. If you don't keep the facilities up-to-date and don't get crowds in there frequently, that can happen.

Finally got my full save setup. Started at Celtic, as per usual. Made a few transfers, sold Samaras to Spurs for 1m (:lol::lol::lol:), and Dominic Cervi to Carlisle. Only made the one signing, Sinan Bolat from Standard as keeper. Kid's a fucking club hero already.

First Old Firm game of the season, We give away a penalty in the 2nd half, and he makes the save. From the rebound, a rangers player gets the ball first, but is taken out in the process, earning them another penalty. Bolat saves again. Two Penalty saves in a minute. Game finished 0-0. What a hero.

Im at the start of the 2017/18 season, currently at Bolton. Joined them when their manager got sacked towards of the 2013/14 season when they were in the playoff spots in the Championship. I got them promoted, finished 15th, 8th then 6th so hopefully pushing for a top 4 finish this year.
Pretty chuffed at signing "The next Michael Owen" from Huddersfield for only 140K compensation, 15 years old and a dead-set superstar in the making, although he had Italian as a 2nd nationality and got called up to their u21s so Italian switched to his 1st nationality and he lost the Michael owen tag.
Also signed "the next Luke Young" which seemed like an odd epithet to give someone.

The next Luke Young? So a nobody :lol:

So excited about my "next Michael Owen". Played him in a league cup game where he got M.O.M with two assists, then played him in a prem league game where he scored probably as good a goal as ive ever seen in FM four minutes into his debut, becoming the youngest ever prem league goalscorer at 16 years and 54 days.

How often do you guys find an acceptable youth player in your youth teams? Right now I've got 'above average youth recruitment' and I've only had one player who I've kept on to the reserve team.

20 minutes away from making it through THE ENTIRE WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS without conceding a goal...and I concede...A FUCKING OWN GOAL. :evil:

Pretty successful first season at Celtic. Won the league by 5 points from Dundee United, and a further 3 points on that from Rangers in 3rd. Also won the Scottish FA Cup 3-1 over Dundee United (Dundee U won the Scottish League Cup themselves, had a really successful season of their own.

So new season begins, and I've done some Harry Redknap-esque wheeling and dealing.

Yeah. Keeping him one ice is the main thing, prob won't let him play a full 90 unless its a big game, and he should be able to stay fit for the season. Only 30, so still gonna get a lot of use out of him.

You'll probably find that if he's going to get injured it will probably come from training, not games.

International friendly weekend...18 players given instructions for 45mins/game. How am I meant to make tactical changes like that?

2014 WC qualifiers have finished and there were some big name casualties. Ghana missed out, along with Iran, Columbia, Denmark, Czech Republic, Serbia (to Iceland no less), Sweden...and courtesy of hiring Graham Arnold ahead of me...Australia missed out.

Had another successful season with Celtic. Won the League and FA Cup again, and was runner up in the League Cup. Had a great run in the ECL too, got handed a tough group with Atletico, Bayern and Sparta Prague. Shocked everyone with a 2-1 away win at Atletico (La Liga champions) to start off with, and it just kept going from there. Beat Atletico and Sparta both home and away, and drew with Bayern at home, which ended up giving us 1st place. Copped Inter in the R16 though, and that ended that. Hooper was magnificent, with 39 goals from 52 appearances, and Hargreaves made 43 appearances during the season, and only had one injury, so he's already been worth while.

Just about to enter the next window, only have 3.1m budget, and little room in the wages, so it looks like I'll be selling to buy again. Board announced a link with Arsenal, and I've just taken on the Australian job, so it's all happening already.

EDIT: Also, stole this kid from Hibs during the season. He's been labelled the next Kenny Miller, which doesn't exactly fill me with hope, but he's got decent starts to work on, and at the very least is a set piece specialist for sure. Thoughts? Man City have already been bugging me about him.

Just tried my hand at the editor for the first time, revamped the A-league, now a 14 team competition with all the current sides except Wellington (used their players to fill the four new sides). The new clubs are Tasmania United, West Sydney Rovers, Canberra United and South Coast United (Woollongong). Also made a 32 team FFA Cup involving the state sides.

Nothing, but I needed a team to help fill the 4 teams with current A-league players, and the Nux, well there from New Zealand, I've got nothing against them being in the A-league but forgetting about clubs folding, if I had to get rid of one club to make way for expansion it would have to be the team that's not actually from Australia.

See, I'd just fuck off Sydney. But I'm vindictive like that :P

Just started my second season with the GCU. 1st season finished 6th, Roar knocked me out in the 1st round of the finals. Here's my team second season, still undefeated after 10 games. Only spent 40k on Cole and 140k on Bo, everyone else i got was on a free. Sold Djite, some guy i bought called Casternas and Adama Traore all for 500k each. Booyah!

Booo only 32, you need 64 like my one ;)... got 6 rounds of FFA Cup with a two legged final, and a 16 team A-League and considering making it 17 by bringing Wollongong into the league... how have you done the playoffs or do you have it like a proper league?

Proper league, no need for the play offs when you've got the FFA Cup.

Should just scrap the play-offs anyway. The height of tedium. But you can't edit the continental rules so you can't make it top two from the league quality for ACL.

You can't do that because you can't set a prerequisite for the league finish for qualifiers. You'd have to pick specific teams.

I just finished another season with Boro.
Leading into the final round Man City were level with us on points and goal difference. We were ahead due to goals scored and end up winning 2-0. We then had Man City in the ECL final and lost to them 1-2.

Thats 6 ECL finals I've played in and havent won any of them. ](*,)

My managerial reputation says that I'm only continental even though I've won 6 EPL titles, 5 FA Cups and a few League Cups. I'm thinking that I could have won 15 EPL's and my status still wouldnt change to 'world class'. I guess you must have to win the ECL to be considered for that honour.

Halfway through my 4th season at Celtic. Had poor season last season, came 2nd to Rangers, didn't really do well in teh cups, had a decent run in the ECL, including a fantastic 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge, but other than that, was just an average season. Gotta put the hard yards in this season though, received a message saying that because of low co-efficient rates, 2nd place in the SPL is now a Europa League spot instead of a Champions League spot. So have to win the league.

Just won the league by 10 points over Phoenix. Qu Bo won PotY, Golden Boot and Foreign PotY. Scored 19 goals as well. Is a beast. Just played the first leg of the Major Semi, drew 5-5 in Wellington, Minniecon hatty had us 4-1 up and we fell apart. :(

^still, 5 away goals isn't bad.
