First four quarter performance from Collingwood this season, I stand by my comment on the other page that we are a top four quality team on our day. Consistency, injury and form have been huge issues this season but if we persist with Reid upfront, get Beams back to his best and get Daisy back in then we could be a wildcard come September.

That being said our ruck stocks are questionable, Jolly is experienced and on his day he can match it with most, however he is very fragile and doesn't look up to it, I'd say after two games Grundy is almost our number one. The kid has unbelievable potential and could become the premier ruckman of the competition in five years time but I don't know if we can rely on such an inexperienced player for the finals, Witts is in the same boat too.

For the last 2 seasons, I bought a 'non attending' membership for Victory, as I was living O/S.

I wanted to provide at least some support which would reflect in their budget and (membership) figures.

Given the culture of Melbourne and memberships, it wouldn't be surprising at all to hear many AFL fans buying memberships knowing they won't attend many games.

This. I buy a Lions Victorian membershipo each year, even though I often can't make it to our Melbourne Games. I don't buy it because it gets me entry, I buy it to support the club. They're not season tickets, they're memberships, there's a difference.

I do the same for the Roosters and Swans. Most A-League clubs have/have had interstate or non-ticketing memberships as well

$160 mill divided by 700,000 comes to $228.50 per membership.

Some membership packages are around the $1,000 mark.

For $1,000 I'd want premium tickets to every game and Daniel Wells coming around every night and tucking me into bed.
