			    +x+x+x+xMuscat nice guy off the pitch, tip rat on it.   Just hot headed, I wouldn't say tip rat.... clumsy yes..... You're not giving him much credit.  Not much of what Muscat did was clumsy.  Calculated and intentional more like it.   Oh, he was always physical and didn't shy away from a "firm" tackle but remembering him as a player it seemed to me most clangers were because his man outplayed  him and young Musky just lashed out to keep up... Lost touch after he moved to Crystal Palace and couldn't watch Championship matches back then so didn't see him play in UK apart from Millwall and a few Rangers games... He played for a bit in the Aleague as well didn't he?  What was he like at the end of his career? He played 138 games for MV. He was still a thug from time to time, and seriously injured a young Adrian Zahra in one of his last ever A-League games, which earned him an 8 match ban. For the most part Muscat has always been a very solid and effective defender. The problem is when he got it wrong, he got it very very wrong, and that happened too many times. As a result his reputation will forever be tarnished despite having quite a solid playing career. As a coach though, he is a different person. I think his apprenticeship under Ange really made a difference. Yokohama are comfortably sitting 2nd on the J-League table, which is pretty impressive. It's unlikely they will be able to catch Kawasaki but it is technically still possible.

			    +x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xI don't get how a coaching failure like Aloisi can still convince clubs to give him a gig. have said it before, you score the most famous penalty in Aus football history and you get a golden ticket for life!! Definitely seems that way. That being said, I still like the guy and it would be genuinely great for him to succeed as a coach. Not convinced that will happen at WU though and this is probably his last chance at this level. I have met him a few times and he is a genuinely nice guy, just no good as a coach, whereas Muscat on the other hand is another story... Funnily enough Muscat would always go out of his way to come and say hello to me whenever we both happened to be at the same venue (as if he must have thought i was someone else) 😂 Yep muscy is actually very friendly and accommodating.  People have a bias against him due to his playing days . But the guy is a genuinely a nice bloke. Nice blokes don't play the way that barbarian did. He deliberately set out to injure opponents.   Again you're basing his off field actions to the person he is off the field.  Cahill was brilliant on the field but is an arrogant twat  off the field.   But he also carried on like a pork chop on the pak too. Such a whiner.

He wasnt overly accomodating (polite but didnt seem enthused) when Everton toured here. I attended a charity function at the Hyatt with the squad/coaches etc. (yes, Tony Hibbert is genuinely a mime irl too)  Then again he did go out of his way to come over to me and the other half outside the Reebok stadium when he heard the aussie accent

			    +x+x+x+x+x+xI don't get how a coaching failure like Aloisi can still convince clubs to give him a gig. have said it before, you score the most famous penalty in Aus football history and you get a golden ticket for life!! As Russell brand says anyone can be nice for ten mins lol

			    +x+x+x+xI don't get how a coaching failure like Aloisi can still convince clubs to give him a gig. have said it before, you score the most famous penalty in Aus football history and you get a golden ticket for life!! Definitely seems that way. That being said, I still like the guy and it would be genuinely great for him to succeed as a coach. Not convinced that will happen at WU though and this is probably his last chance at this level. he is definitely a likeable guy, he had big deficiencies as a manager previously but he may have learnt and improved. I actually think that he is a pretty good tactician. He improved heart when he first took over and took brisbane from making finals by default (perth being deducted points) to within a game of winning the premiership. what let him down was his recruiting which is generally poor (though he dos have an eye for young strikers) and his ability to keep the players on his side which is strange because he did worse the more the squad was his own.  if you take recruiting away from him and perhaps get him a bit more help in training so he only has to focus on setting up the team tactically i think he might actually make a very good coach. we will see if he has learnt   I like JA and felt bad for the abuse he cops.  That being said, the other glaring issues he had when he was with Brisbane was the absolute shambles of a defense (maybe his brother's responsibility) and his tactical inflexibility.  Regardless of what was happening - minute 60 would come up and a pre-planned sub was made.  He did seem to get a good return from Aussie strikers.

			    +x+xI see WU signed Christian Theohaurus (sp). Was a real shame he left MV so prematurely when Muscy was phasing him into the team and giving him the impact sub role. I understand you need to chase your dreams but it’s no surprise that not a lot was achieved in Germany for him.  To be fair . I don't think even Theo knew why monchengladbach wanted to sign him either.   But weird how wu signed him in a scholarship deal and not a proper deal It's just taking advantage of the salary cap exemption: Scholarship Players – Each Club can contract up to 9 under 23 Australian Players on the national minimum wage. Any payments above the national minimum wage to these Players are included in the Club’s Salary Cap;

			    +x+x+xI don't get how a coaching failure like Aloisi can still convince clubs to give him a gig. have said it before, you score the most famous penalty in Aus football history and you get a golden ticket for life!! He improved heart when he first took over and took brisbane from making finals by default (perth being deducted points) to within a game of winning the premiership. what let him down was his recruiting which is generally poor (though he dos have an eye for young strikers) and his ability to keep the players on his side which is strange because he did worse the more the squad was his own.  if you take recruiting away from him and perhaps get him a bit more help in training so he only has to focus on setting up the team tactically i think he might actually make a very good coach. we will see if he has learnt

			    +xI don't get how a coaching failure like Aloisi can still convince clubs to give him a gig. He’s not the best coach but he’s hardly a failure either. There are worse coaches around who don’t cop anywhere near as much flack as he does. I’d take him over our coach tbh.

			    +x+xIt's all pretty logical. If being double vaxxed, you're both less likely to get it, AND less likely to pass it on in the case where you do actually get it, and everyone around you is also double vaxxed, then, it follows that across the population, you will have lower infection rates, and you, your family, and friends will be safer by a significant margin. On the other hand if 20% of the population are absolute dickheads, then the risk necessarily goes up (and our health system gets uncessarily clogged by dickheads). So people are losing their jobs because of a generic “less likely”.  And you guys support this. Shameful.

 What about natural immunity exemption for people that have already had covid.  Surely they don’t need the vaccine.

 But everyone is silent on that.  But it’s all about the public health. And greater good.  And any other wanky slogan peasants fall for.   People made the choice to not get vaxxed and lose their job... no sympathy. Even the evil Murdoch Media have mandated vaccine for their staff in Australia. "natural immunity” is a myth that has been debunked. The claim that you can’t catch COVID twice has been debunked. +xCalling the 90% peasants when the 10% will be marginalised and sick, rightly or wrongly, is an odd use of the word peasant. Are you 10% the true rulers of us peasants or are the rulers also vaccinated and not locked out of places...... NSW is pushing 94% single vaxxed. VIC is pushing 92%. We will end up with 99% or close to it. then we will have 5-11 year old’s who will be eligible before Xmas. With cases reducing in VIC and NSW while open, people can’t argue vaccines don’t work

			    I see WU signed Christian Theohaurus (sp). Was a real shame he left MV so prematurely when Muscy was phasing him into the team and giving him the impact sub role. I understand you need to chase your dreams but it’s no surprise that not a lot was achieved in Germany for him.

			    +xI would have thought we now have stacks of solid data to determine the relative risk quite accurately. Just stop being dickheads and get vaccinated. I think you've completely missed the point or you don't know what relative risk actually is.   Relative risks mean little without knowing the absolute risks, which is what people need to make an informed decision about risk versus benefit.  A tiny risk is still a tiny risk even if it is doubled.  A tiny benefit is still a tiny benefit even if doubled,.. And the article clearly says they don't know the absolute risks.
