Apparently the Chinese owners of Birmingham city have backed out on funding wmg.  Wmg looking for new partners. 

Ffa  knew about it and ignored  it. 

Probably why it's been quiet on the stadium front, they don't have enough money to proceed with construction.

Well, voting is open for the name of the club. Would be disastrous if the stadiums falls through or keeps getting delayed..they were never ready to enter this early. Nice one FFA!

The silence though about who the backers are is concerning though. That level of secrecy hardly bodes well.

This was always a joke bid - this stadium was never going to happen and you can't start a club in the middle of paddocks with dodgy Chinese backers. Should have been SE Melbourne. Yet more FFA stupidity. 

SE Melbourne was going to have the same issue, nobody was going to build a stadium for them.

The WMG bid was always about property development in Tarniet and had nothing to do with creating a football club. now that property prices have dropped and banks have tightened lending on property the financials probably dont stack up so teh chinese backers are gonski
