+xi am a melbourne city supporter i can't be seen in south end At the ACL games it's pretty sparce. Not much in the way of active support. If you sit in the top half of the south end towards the corners, you will get a great view and have very little people around you.

Hope you enjoy the game.

Everyone should be praying for a Wellington win this weekend. If they do we would most likely finally play a home derby at AAMI.

+xDerby pretty much confirmed. Inb4 Etihad on a Thursday. City would have to win by three or four goals at home against CCM, and Nix would have to lose by the same margin away to Perth (or whatever else makes up the 6 GD margin) for there to not be a derby final, which is certainly possible but not holding my breath. It should be on Friday 3rd, given that we've got Daegu away in Korea on Wednesday 8th.

No troisi for the rest of the season... don't wish injury to him but it could be a blessing in disguise, Honda to finally play in his natural position.

Think it's more likely that Valeri comes in for Troisi, Baena to LCM and Antonis AM.

Full squad announced for WSW away.
So good that our players were preserved for the dead rubber instead of the ACL while we still had a chance.

There's a difference between still having a chance mathematically and actually having a chance. We had 0 chance of qualifying from our group and finals preparation simply had to take priority.

Interesting knock-on effects on our NPL squad today, with Lesiotis, Lauton, Iradukunda and Said the only players from our ACL squad playing. That leaves the following squad of 16 possible to go to Korea: Acton, Sutton, Roux, Brown, Kenny, Kirdar, Hope, Akbari, Ingham, Lesiotis, Anderson, Carrigan, Iradukunda, Lauton, Palazzolo and Said. That leaves our starting XI of Thomas, Deng, Donachie, Georg, Broxham, Baena, Honda, Antonis, Troisi, Kosta and Toivonen rested, as well as Valeri and Elvis on the bench, with Acton and two others fine to back up as subs.

So Prince Harry had Stand By Me played live at his wedding, and now he's named his firstborn son Archie, just saying.

Would absolutely not complain if Muscat is our manager next season , but I think it's time for him to test himself overseas. He doesn't have anything else left to prove here, and won't get to the next level in this environment.
I've seen Arsenal fans turn on Wenger even when things were going good, I would hate to see Kev treated the same way if we have a poor year after all the good ones.

Kev's end of season report card:
Cup: Lost to an NPL team. ACL: Lost three opening games, gave up after just one home game, likely to end the group stage without a win. League: Close 3rd behind Sydney, thanks to dropping points at home to Newy and twice to Phoenix and not winning a Derby. Finals: We'll never speak of the 2019 finals again.
Renew?

Fuck it, just go after Rudes. If he can get Wellington playing that sort of football with that little resources, imagine what he could do with a Melbourne Victory squad.
