Ange is an expert at blocking out noise. Considering the realities of the window closing after the season starts, he would've been focused on R1 and therefore his plans would've been either playing without him or playing in a way that accommodates both possibilities (go, stay). Surely would've been the second because even if he stays, I know from life experience that you can't reliably get some Harry Kane on a Saturday, sometimes just doesn't happen.

I think they're signing some dutch CB but that won't be enough - Kane is a 'world class' player to lose him would me Spurs should have no expectations other then finishing above 10th next season

Yeah thats what I think also... The guy would want to "leave a legacy" at the club he has served for so long and at least win SOMETHING before he retires.... 

Still, him staying at Spurs (if he does) is a big compliment to Ange one way or another.

Torn i think more than anything, he's been a Spurs lad for sometime, it no matter if it wasn't Ange its more so having loyalty to the shirt he's given all.

Reckon he is torn between perhaps wanting to stay under Ange and breaking his word with Bayern.
